Krista is an associate of the firm and practices in all of the areas of civil litigation including employment matters. In addition to her litigation practice, she also has experience in corporate/commercial, entertainment, aviation and securities regulation. Krista also handles all manner of family law matters including separation agreements, divorce, property division and custody disputes.

Krista brings a practical approach to the practice of law and works hard to achieve fair and efficient results for clients by using common sense combined with legal expertise and effective communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.

Before becoming a lawyer, Krista spent over a decade working in film, television and theatre as an actor, producer and talent agent. After three years in private practice, Krista went to work for Canada's public broadcaster. She now advises clients on copyright issues, broadcast licenses, format options and format license agreements, tax credit applications, clearances, production agreements and cast and crew agreements.

Krista has represented business aviation clients on litigation and regulatory matters and has advised clients about commercial agreements, employment agreements, training bonds, insolvency issues and airport leases. She has also advised pilots with respect to Transport Canada investigations into alleged violations of the CARs.

Krista Bulmer obtained a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004. She then accepted an offer to teach law for one academic year at Southwest University of Politics and Law in Chongqing, China, after which she returned to Ontario to complete her articles. Krista was called to the bar in 2006.

Krista is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada and is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and Canadian Business Aviation Association. She has served on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's Entertainment, Media and Communications section and was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Parkdale Community Legal Services.
